Script development is, of course, a crucial aspect of screenwriting. Your first draft probably won't be the best draft of your script you can write. It's worth taking time to step back from your screenplay to allow objectivity. Better still, hire a pro screenwriter or script consultant to look at your screenplay with fresh, impartial eyes, and develop it for you.
