Spread The Word (But Don’t)

I have been approached multiple times by people who have written film screenplays or VOD/TV screenplays in Microsoft Word or Mac Pages. This is not ideal as anyone influential in the film business will likely dismiss a script written in Word or Pages without reading it. I won’t. I will read it and offer to transcribe it into a pro screenwriting software package like Final Draft. This is a service I offer.

To avoid a film or VOD producer, film director or screenwriting agent rejection based on script formatting errors, screenplays should be written in Final Draft, FadeIn, or one of the other screenwriting software platforms. You can download and use FadeIn free, so if money is an obstacle to procuring industry standard screenwriting software, don’t let it be so: grab FadeIn and write your script in that.
